A design consultation is the perfect way for the landscape architect to better understand the client’s requirements and vision. During the consultation, our clients can discuss issues or concerns they may have with any part of their outdoor space. We focus on learning about their personal and unique styles, and then we propose solutions and creative ideas that best suit you.

  • Consultation

    • During the initial consultation, the landscape architect will have their first conversations with the client about their project

  • Return Brief / Proposal

    • The landscape architect will get an understanding of the local area (uses,vegetation,culture,etc). The landscape architect then provides a return brief or proposal.

  • Research & Concept

    • The main objective of this stage is to develop documents(plan or report) that provide the client with an understanding of the proposed spatial arrangement, programs, functions, constraints, opportunities and over all aesthetic.

  • Design Development

    • In this stage, the initial concept is developed further to provide the client with a greater understanding of the design.

  • Construction Documentation

    • This stage often requires coordination with other consultants to reduce the possibility for construction issues and also to allow for resolution of overlapping design elements(architecture,lighting,etc)

  • Construction

    • In this stage, is the design implementation, where the landscape architect focuses on-site, monitoring the landscape design step by step, revising and making sure that everything goes as planned

  • Inspection

    • Site inspection and analysis is the first required step to better understandand grasp the dimensions of the area. Also to get a better view on what the requirements are.

  • Cost estimation

    • With a clearer picture of the site, a cost estimation will be produced, according to the distribution of the site

  • Scheduling

    • When the cost estimation has been finalized, a schedule is prepared with the date and time that is convenient for the client.

  • Proposal

    • After completing the fixed schedule, the client will receive a proposal document.

  • Contract

    • Upon the approval of proposal, the client will receive an official contract document to be signed.
